When you share your app's code, designs, data or business details with XenoComp, we make you these promises. They apply from the moment you share anything with us, whether or not you hire us, and they're part of every quote you accept.

1. You keep ownership

Everything you share — source code, code exports, designs, content, data, documents and account details — stays your property (or the property of whoever licensed it to you). Sharing it with us doesn't transfer any ownership or rights to XenoComp.

2. We only use it to help you

You give us permission to access, run, copy and change your code only as needed to provide the services you ask for — reviewing it, fixing it, hosting it, building new features, and publishing your app. We won't use it for anything else.

3. We won't reuse, sell or share it

We will never use your code, designs, data or business ideas in another client's project or in our own products, and we will never sell, license, publish or give them away. Only the people working on your project can see your materials, and anyone we bring in to help is bound by this same promise.

4. We keep it confidential

We treat everything you share as confidential. We won't disclose it to anyone unless the law requires it — and if that ever happens, we'll tell you first if we're legally allowed to.

5. We keep it secure

Your files are kept on our private servers and accounts, never in public code repositories. Logins and access you give us are used only for your project and removed when they're no longer needed. Please never email us passwords — we'll set up secure access with you.

6. Work we do for you becomes yours

New code, changes and designs we create for your app become your property once the work is paid for. We keep only our general skills and know-how, and any generic open-source tools or libraries (which remain under their own licenses).

7. AI tools

We may use AI coding assistants to work faster. We only use services whose business terms state that your code isn't used to train their models, and we never paste your passwords or customer data into them.

8. You can have it back — and we'll delete ours

Whenever you ask, we'll give you a complete copy of your code and data. When our work or service ends, we'll delete our copies within 30 days of your request, except for rotating backups (kept confidential until they expire) and records we must keep for tax or legal reasons.
